Happy 100th Post

I'm actually pretty proud of myself for reaching 100 posts on this blog because that means I finished 100 projects (paintings, sewing projects, decorating things, playing songs on my guitar, cross-stitches, crafts with my girls, big school event things, etc.) I use to never finish projects! I use to never feel brave enough to show my art to ANYONE- even Seth. I didn't even draw or paint hardly at all for about 8 or 9 years (shortly after meeting Seth and becoming majorly intimidated of him - no matter how much he encouraged me) ;).

So here is a compilation of the 40 paintings I've done since starting this blog. I'm excited to see what my compilation will look like at 200 posts. What will happen in my life by that point. Maybe I'll be brave enough to try and sell some of it... nah. :) But to celebrate I want to give away a copy of one of my paintings. Any one of them. You choose. Just put your name in the comments and tell which one you'd like. Go ahead, anyone put your name in- even if I don't know you and you are a lurker. It's okay with me. :) Hopefully this wont be embarrassing and I discover only a few people look at it. I guess that would be okay, because mostly I'm just happy to have 40 paintings done and see the progress I've made. Last day for putting your name in will be Sat. April 12th and I'll post on the 13th who wins.

I think all your art is wonderful! So hard to choose, but I love the ruby red shoes! Adorable.

So, yah. I'm pretty much a lurker, but PICK ME!!!!!!!!

I am so glad that you found me again! Your little paintings were such a bright spot of my week when doing the Mini Art Journal challenge with Em, I always looked forward to seeing what you had come up with next!

I don't know that I can actually choose a favorite, (I love them all!) but I'll go ahead and say the yellow and blue one of Mother & Daughter. It has such a peaceful and classic feeling.

Take care and have a great week!

Congratulations on 100 posts! I'd pick my favorite, but I already have all of the originals available for my viewing pleasure.

I love all of them, but I am very drawn to the colors in the one of the rooster and roosters also remind me of French country decor. Congrats on being so brave to share and on being so clever and creative.

That really is impressive! I really like all of them because they all remind me of you in different ways. My favorites are the maroon and white butterfly one and the I'm a princess one, because the princess looks like ains to me.

How will I ever decide? How generous of you to give one of your pieces away. I really love the fairy titled nature and the one of the girl and mother in the flower garden.

I'll have to decide if I win, but I'm not going to until then.

Congrats on your 100th post! Way to go, girl!

I am no longer a secret admirer of your art. I love it, and I love that you are letting your light shine, it lets the rest of us know that we can, too.

The pants and shirt on the clothesline caught my eye at once, and then at closer glance I saw the cute little stockings and little white dress. And what is that in between the pants and the dress? I will let it be a surprise.

Pick me!! I love the butterfly and flowers on red backgrounds. And I think it's so wonderful to share your artwork. I think I would have a hard time parting with something that was so much a part of me, but I also love to recieve stuff like that from friends. It means so much more, and is a special link between us. :)

Oops, that last post was from Brittany, not James. But if James wins, I'll steal it from him!
